Nurse Betty is a noise experiment by Dianne Lynn of Homoglochini, Weird Ear Records, and LCM. Duel sided pulsing fritzed out synths, and hapenstance zounds, perhaps inspired by theories and methods such as flow, osmosis, stress, and relief. This will NOT be Nurse Betty's premier! But that's no reason NOT to go! Yo!

Starting off with John McCowen an Oakland-based composer/clarinetist/improviser who is moving out of the Bay Area soon! So get over here! He specialises in post-electronic acoustic music. His solo work is focused on the extended possibilities of the clarinet/contrabass clarinet. He embraces long-form drones as a means to extrude the structure within - treating the clarinet as an acoustic synthesizer. So time to zone out! He too has worked with Roscoe Mitchell & Fred Frith, and also Sult & Tool! (Sult & Tool!)
