Ben Tinker’s monthly music showcase

Sound artist, abstract turntablist and DJ Maria Chavez will be conducting a hands on abstract turntablism worksop with students currently enrolled in the Mills Music Graduate program as a David Tudor composer in residence. The workshops on campus are closed to the public, but Maria will bring the workshop to Adobe so students can present their newly learned turntablism techniques to a small audience. The event will become a performative lecture of sorts where audience and students alike are welcome to meet Maria and try some turntable techniques themselves! Join us!
